Yes -- and he has that great smile -- like in Kelly's Heroes and Dirty Dozen. The guys in Dirty Dozen are also overall pretty hot, too.

Young Guns because I would rather hang out with a bunch of outlaw cowboys robbin' trains and banks than with a bunch of emos with giant, class-issue chips on their shoulders who don't do anything bit complain and fight Soces and rescue orphans from burning buildings.

But! But dark horse candidate The Lost Boys is really my pick for the win.

but the outsiders hang out in bars where Tom Waits is the bouncer, plus Rob Lowe's character is really sweet and cooks and wants to keep the family together.

I remember the first time I saw that movie. It was on TV one Sunday afternoon and the "Stay gold, Pony Boy" part came on and I just sobbed and sobbed. Turns out, I was days away from getting my first period.

Everyone in Young Guns is too smirky in a smarmy, unpleasant way -- to me! Never saw that movie either, though.

The Outsiders dress awesomely. I mean, pick any; would pash.

I haven't seen any of them at all; I spent the '80s in a box and now that I know all movies about outsiders and malcontents are sure to end badly, it's too late for me to be willing to engage with them anymore.

i think both these movies are pretty american. or mythical-american. though maybe that means they would have been good exports. i don't know, maybe you were just not obsessed with emilio estevez like my best friend at the time was and so needed to watch these movies over and over.

Not a huge fan - people were more into 'Rumble Fish' down my way - but 'That Was Then, This Is Now' was shot in Minneapolis and some classmate's mom was in charge of extras casting, so a few girls from my class have small speaking parts in the film.
