I just want to remark that I love the tempering of the challops of new posters on ILX. It's like "your bullshit may have gotten you through university, but welcome to grad school motherfucker". It sort of stings at first but really it's for their own good (and I say this as someone who's had a few challops along the way, including now).

I tend to judge whether or not people are "suspect" based on how they treat other people, their ethics, intellect, etc., not on what they're into -- let alone thinking they're suspect based on the fact that they're into something at all.
