considering a cat

We put so much effort into naming our kitten and mostly I just call him "Midget" and "Crazypants" and "Boo".

You should name her after something you like, "book" or "Safeway" or something

harbl likes me, i can tell.

fish fly would be a good name if she likes fish because then her name would thematically match all your domicile's fruit-liking flies.

i just wanna quick post my gf's new cat, Mona, who i adore:

she's super tiny and her eyes look even bigger in the irl. probably the chillest and sweetest cat alive iirc.

I'm going to call my cat Aaron, Fluffalo, or Ole

she was a stray. we thought she was a kitten still cuzza the tiny, but the vet thinks she's about a year and a half to two years old.

She has big eyes

Mona is cute! I have a green-eyed brown tabby (NOT tiny, though) so I am very partial to that kind of cat.

my friends found it in an alley, and they walked over with it in a backpack. we went to the bar, so we left the kitten here. i came home and played with it, and worried about its poopings and the whereabouts thereof.

this morning it capered, and i glared sternly, because i am hungover. it scratched at the door (srsly!) and i thought "i'll go get a box" and when i came back it had pooped right on the floor. i told the cat it was v stupid, and it chewed a cable, so i yelled at it again.

m and z called it d'artagnan, but that is far too aspirational a name for an alleycat, so now it's named pizza

btw i think if i was adopting a pet i would only want an old depressed animal w/ social problems.

it has been cleaning itself for a solid ten minutes

you might be tempted to say "but that's what cats do!" except that this cat is the size of a potato, and could be cleaned entirely with a swift wipe of a dishrag

i have things to do! you can't just ~run around~

like srsly the cat (pizza) has already climbed into a shoe, pooped (not in the shoe), investigated some old rope, and crawled under a desk. it is exhausting.

Re nomenclature: my brother has decided to pursue naming all his pets after "things you can put things in". His cat's name: Bucket. His (recently adopted) baby squirrel's name: Pocket.
