i have been thinking abt getting a cat for a few months now, but the glasgow cats protection league always have the most depressing selection of kitties - like some of the descriptions are heartbreaking, but i really want a puss that isnt gonna peg out on after two months:

we now have two kittens. second (and final) kitten is orange tabby on the face, but the body is weird. he has a single stripe down the spine, and a white SPIRAL on each side. ive never seen anything like it.

spiral kitty! Sounds adorable. As soon as I have plans for a new kitty in my life people have been springing up with free kitten offers everywhere! I may end up with 2 cats by the end of the month which my small apartment may not be able to handle.

It's been one of the best unexpected benefits of switching our two guys to raw food - tiny poops w/ so much less stench.

im also naming the kitten "tiny poops"

There's some kind of indoor cat food formula that's supposed to make their poop stink less, too, if you don't want to go the raw food route.

There's grain-free canned food too - Wellness comes to mind as one brand.

so according to wiki that spiral pattern is the common classic tabby or bullseye pattern. weird, ive had two tabbies, and both were stripey, which is called "mackerel." i thought that stripes were the usual pattern.

zuzu is totally playful and energetic. she jumps her new brother all the time pins him, then grooms him. orange guy (prelim name "spiro"), is more mellow. he loves to be held, and he's a very loud purrer. when he is left alone, he commences crying and crying and crying. kind of annoying, so its good zuzu is there i guess. i considered calling him vuvu since the sound he makes is so irritating.
