i am reading that wet foods are generally better bc they contain less grain/fillers. apparently cats only should not exceed 5% of their diet from carbs.

Our kitty is on a special renal diet food but when she was younger she did Iams and has made it to geriatric age. Actually when I was a poor graduate student she got lolMeow Mix (warning: produces bright orange vomit)and seemed to be fine on that so yeah, whatever food you get that kitty, you will be doing well by kitty!
