i made a pumpkin pie and accidentally made the crust a little too big for the filling, so i made up the difference by just pouring egg nog into the crust. i wasn't sure if it would turn out, and my bf and i waited with bated breath to see if it would. it did, and it is the best pumpkin pie i've ever made.
