The two-year-old Tibetan mastiff called Hu Hu (Tiger) performed the stunt at a special event to showcase dog tricks in Chongqing city.

They watched as he climbed to the top of a four metre platform and balanced along two thin steel wires.

Spectators held their breath and occasionally called out “slow down, slow down” to Hu Hu.

He paused occasionally before completing the 10 metre walk to the other end.

The dog’s owner, Mr. He, says Hu Hu was a gift from a friend. He trained Hu Hu for more than a year to walk across wires, reports Chongqing Business News.

I think you'd put in the URL for the page where both images were rather than the address of each image itself. I love old dogs (and cats), when they're not grumpy at least, there is a quiet to them

Dillon is so handsome!

He was doing great up until about a year ago; now he’s deaf, half-blind and completely incontinent. He still likes to run about (albeit slowly), enjoys hugs and food. It’s just a chore to clean him up all the time, and my flat smells like pee, but I’m glad to have him.

My parents got him for me when, after my first spell in a psychiatric hospital I had to move home from Glasgow to Fife, and they thought he would keep me company, which he has. It’s only a matter of time until he can’t stand up, though, and the vet says that’s the time they euthanise him. Just tying to enjoy the time left.
