How do you lose your shoes?!

I have no idea. I had them on at the bar but they did not make it home with me. My bag was also stolen that night. I think I'd maybe kicked them off (they were sandals and it was a beach bar) and someone took both the bag and the shoes but I can't be sure. Whatever happened it sucked and if someone did steal them they suck even more. Stealing someone's shoes is pretty low.

i did make it home somehow but had the enjoyable realization that id lost the keys to my (shared) office last night along w/ the rest of shit. ugh im the worst, honestly

hangover + a 4-hour meeting that your boss is in? I made it through but all in all I wouldn't say I recommend it.

still getting over my hangover + sleep deprivation from friday night!
i explicitly said to my friend that a) i haven't been drinking much for the past few months, so would take it easy on the booze, and b) i wasn't going to get hosed because i had to take a long bus ride back home on saturday. but he is a friend i seem to always get drunk with whenever we see each other - should've known... the bus ride was. brutal. even with industrial-strength ibuprofen.

Today. Not good.

My evening was fine, but swigging tequila out of a flask on my way home is the likely culprit in the affair of my current pounding headache and this morning's lurking nausea.

do not put any booze in a flask and let it still be there by the walking-home part of the night! it is a rule and if you break it then pain happens!

I couldn't pour it out! I just have to learn not to drink whatever I find lying around...or in my handbag.

aaaaaaaaaaaaannnnd i am just now getting out of bed. waste of day off :/

going to bed around 7 means having the hangover hit you in the middle of the afternoon. was not a good afternoon.

I'm still recovering from Saturday. You know that bit at the end of Jeff Goldblum's The Fly where Brundlefly gets fused with his own telepod and is crawling along the floor gesturing to the guy with the shotgun to kill him? That's how I felt yesterday.

being hungover is often pretty great imo, stretching out your limbs feeling the booze coursing through your veins, yawning falling back asleep, i always enjoy music coffee breakfast so, so much, mood might depend more on whether you actually had a good night but physically speaking i think it's a pretty ideal state like if i were at a monastery forever i might consider getting trashed every night and waking up listening to lauryn hill drinking coffee on my couch all day

Today was an epic stretch of communal hungover starting with "oh God what happened last night" to chill first/second/third breakfast lounging and then on to "hey let's have a beer!".

Napped an hour after I woke up, for the three more hours. Karaoke place comped a bottle of soju. It is evil.

urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... every time I invite my bff and his wife over, we sit up til stupidoclock drinking cask goon and talking shit and I smoke a bajillion cigarettes and feel like shite the next day.

I am now making oven chips and vegan gravy to appease my growly empty stomach. I feel rather wobbly and low blood sugared.

Ugh.

At least I didn't have work today like some of my fellow drinkers, ha ha.

Successfully fighting one of these things off is one of the best feelings in the world.
