I am listening to "Fetisch" for the first time since I was like, 16 and IT IS AWESOME, so dour and german and gothyscreechy.

They also all had awesome hair.

Trayce, Thursday, 5 July 2007 04:58 (twelve years ago) link

i still listen to 'em all the time. more siouxsie than siouxsie, except german, and not as catchy, but still, they were fucking AWESOME.

andi, Thursday, 5 July 2007 08:57 (twelve years ago) link

I was suprised to realise I knew all of "Fetisch" inside out and Ive never owned the damn thing. I must have had it on a casette with no song titles or something.

Hmmm, I just listend to 'Tocsin' last night and it grew tiring pretty quickly. But yeah that bass sound is one hot wonder.

I can sing Qual from start to finish and I haven't got a clue what I'm singing.

Geil! Especially that last song. They sound almost like My Bloody Valentine in places. Some great droney noise there!

I only know Fetisch and Tocsin and only these two appear on streaming services. Curious about their later "pop" albums.

I had Viva - it was good in an icy edgy 80s Siouxsie kind of way but much more synth driven. Wish I’d kept it, the CD changes hands for quite a few bucks these days.
