there are parts of the house where someone's obviously put some effort in, like a floor that looks nice, and then one wall of that room will look like someone just haphazardly nailed sheetrock over it and there'll be a gap near the ceiling
the incongruous nature of that kitchen counter against the completely different parts of the wall
