love that record^

Trip Maker, Tuesday, 1 September 2009 02:58 (sixteen years ago)

I never heard that or know anything about them but I have a Bright/Fuxa split or collaboration 7" that's on a pink plastic sleeve that's totally great. I'm sure you all have that one, it was ubiquitous for a while.

dan selzer, Tuesday, 1 September 2009 03:30 (sixteen years ago)

i don't have that. but i love "blue christian" like crazy. i van vonderen that record.

HURL CROCKERY AT THE MOSQUE (GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ), Tuesday, 1 September 2009 08:27 (sixteen years ago)

My friend had the split 7" I remember it being pretty good.
Other Bright lp's don't really stand up to Blue Christian, imo, but they have their moments. Really love "The Res" from their 96 s/t album.

Trip Maker, Tuesday, 1 September 2009 16:37 (sixteen years ago)

They have close ties to Ba Da Bing! Records, iirc.

Trip Maker, Tuesday, 1 September 2009 16:37 (sixteen years ago)

i really enjoyed bright in the 90s!

anybody out there have any version of Jerry Garcia performing "How Sweet it Is" they can share? It's very important! No, it's not some beardo edit classic, I need it for a job.

thanks. There's a recorded live version with some other guy that's better known, but it's 10 minutes long! This one is 9, so not much better, may just have to go with the one on iTunes, but you have to buy the whole record to get it!

dan selzer, Wednesday, 9 September 2009 18:41 (sixteen years ago)

I wasn't aware when I posted these that the tracks weren't labeled how I prefer them to be. Sorry about that guys. I guess I shouldn't complain about free music.
