Dude made a camera with auto-shoot and attached it to his cat and came back with evidence of a cats life. Awesome stuff.

Bummer, I looked at it yesterday & it was pretty cool, and seemed perfectly innocuous, wtf.

pretty sure i still do, at my parents' house, in the Guy Bucket (what my mom called a bucket filled with all my old action figures).
― river wolf, Friday, 8 June 2007 02:37 (nineteen years ago)
I also had a guy bucket! I had two guy buckets! And a gargantuan plastic pink pig toybox the size of a mastiff that is packed full of action figgers that is now entombed under my mother's house in Tennessee in a shroud of black hefty bags to keep the spiders away. I gotta get that sucker one o these days.
― forksclovetofu, Friday, 8 June 2007 04:49 (nineteen years ago)
oh yeah, muscle men were the shit!
long after i stopped playing with them my mom would keep finding stray muscle men toys while cleaning around the house.

I assume most of you did what I did, which was to spend a couple of hours creating an elaborate battlefield set-up with transformers, he-man toys and other larger figures as generals/field officers and smaller figures as infantry (those cheap plastic soldiers/cowboys/indians were especially good for this). Tanks and other mechanized vehicles and artillery were constructed out of Legos, and perhaps there would be a small air force from Construx. When all this was done I would realize I didn't have 30 hands and couldn't make a particularly fun battle out of all this.
― Hurting 2, Saturday, 9 June 2007 04:56 (nineteen years ago)
In one of those videos Reh Dogg drinks Spaten Optimator.
A fine choice.

That's when you'd send in the remote-controlled Bigfoot a.k.a. The Great Equalizer to mow them all down.

HEY YOU GUISE I am so happy, some combo of circumstances has shored up my shins, and I danced full-out today with only my fitness as the high-water mark, instead of the pain always determining how hard I can go. I LOVE IT. I think some combo of biking and rest from high-impact stuff and maybe the fact that the floor was old barn wood and a little flexy has combined to give me magical powers of highland-osity and I am so grateful.

All right, look, I'm in a highland frame of mind lately, okay? But I think we might have a very exciting upcoming gig right here in NYC that you should all come to if yr even slightly inclined. Keep June 30 PM open, is all I'm saying.

Laurel, I kinda like rollerderby. There may be scheduling concerns, as I am pretty sure I'll be playing kickball during the day?
― elmo argonaut, Tuesday, 12 June 2007 15:39 (nineteen years ago)
I don't really love rollerderby, but if we get it, it will be the most coolest gig we've had so far. Plus for once it will be accessible to me by subway and will not require me to leave the house before 8am, because FUCK a Westchester all-day festival.
