i just found out that i will not be losing my annual leave after i leave this job, they will be cutting me a check for my 212.25 hours of accrued time. i don't get paid for my sick leave but still.
that gives me a little bit of a cushion.

a friend said he could probably get me something where he works, not even sure what it is but he said it's super easy and it's a pretty good gig. he did say the pay sucks but i was expecting that. if that falls through i spent part of the weekend dusting off my resume and that will be going on monster shortly. i'll also be putting out feelers for bartending/bar back/door duty work. temping if all else fails.
― chicago kevin, Tuesday, 29 May 2007 18:07 (nineteen years ago)

That interview really took me back. I cooked for the cast/crew of The Sore Losers during part of the Mississippi shoot...I was half-dozing on the couch one day and listening to Macro Dub Infection when Jack came in and said "What is this?" I don't think he disliked it, it was just alien to him. I asked him if he wanted me to turn it off, but he said "no, no, that's cool."

Milton, you know we have a Sea Organ in SF? it's pretty unimpressive. the time that i went i heard nothing. it might have been the wrong tide or something?

have never been there at peak tide, I hear you really do have to be there an hour before dawn for it to work. it's still a cool spot to trek to though.
