1. I don't get why it's creepy -- because you work for him? My point in reviving that thread was that the PFM item was all "Indie rock? Baseball? What are these two crazy things doing together?" -- without pointing out that the head honcho behind the label at the heart of this story is a huge baseball fan, and so, you know, maybe that had something to do with it.

There is a kernel of truth here, I suppose. But I'd ask "made fun of" by whom? "Thought of as creepy" by whom? If you and Stormy Davis (who isn't even a true noizeborder since he lives in Chicago) say I'm creepy but no one else gives a shit, does that still count? You're very close to saying that a true noizeborder is someone that's approved by other true noizeborders, which seems circular.
