the reason ally thinks it's ridiculous (just guessing here) is not because you know the date of the email but b/c you are referring to a PRIVATE email on the zing thread, but that's just a guess.

I'm only referring to a private e-mail to give context for why I was bothered by Laurel reposting that zing. I'm not hanging onto that e-mail beef, either. In fact, Laurel and I saw each other in person like a week after that exchange and things seemed totally fine. But her recent behavior has reminded me of that e-mail conversation, and I've been wondering if I was right last fall to have tried to forgive and forget, or whether I should've just written her off back then as well. As we noted yesterday, though, that's a hard thing to do on ILX.

I hardly ever write people off at all! I think that's my problem, though, sometimes, is when people don't like me, I invest a lot of energy into trying to figure out why they don't like me, and how I could change, instead of just saying "Fuck 'em, they're not worth it."
