― roxymuzak, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 02:04 (eighteen years ago)
Jon Lewis, I don't know when you made yr first appearance but you have only recently (just before Skot's reading) come to my attention and I think you are Quality.
― Laurel, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 17:52 (eighteen years ago)
Awwwwww 10-Q Laurel! ^_^ I think yr perfectly awesome too.
Have to figure out a way to give you Soft Boys stuff without compromising yr ethical stance! Also sorry we so late for Medieval capers!
― Jon Lewis, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 17:59 (eighteen years ago)
It's not so much MY ethical stance as my employer's! I works for multi-national media giant, they may not be cools with the file sharing.
― Laurel, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 18:10 (eighteen years ago)
yeah apparently there were all these other ilxors at the ren fair but i didn't see anyone! i was probably too busy sticking turkey leg into my mouth.
― bell_labs, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 18:15 (eighteen years ago)
what was with all the people with tails? medieval larper furries?
― bell_labs, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 18:16 (eighteen years ago)
I don't have a clue about the tails, they fucking creep me out. I've seen them for sale in several different festivals, altho that could be the same lame people making the circuit.
― Laurel, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 18:19 (eighteen years ago)
xpost So if it were a burned CD-R copy of the CD you could accept that?
-TURKEY LEG- the first thing wife K did was descend om nom nom upon them. I limited myself to pickle cart and "boar sandwich" (ie pulled pork).
― Jon Lewis, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 18:21 (eighteen years ago)
btw SOMEONE around here might secretly be wanting one of those tails for his bday so he can use it on his Kitsune fursuit I'M NOT NAMING ANY NAMES...
― Jon Lewis, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 18:22 (eighteen years ago)
i also reallly don't think the corsets are for everyone. did anyone else see that woman with the weird boobs that were basically coming out of her neck?
― bell_labs, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 18:23 (eighteen years ago)

that dude thinks he's wicked awesome, more 'real' and 'ready for shit' than the people around him, and imagines himself to be some kind of badass just waiting for an endtimes opportunity to strut his shit. in actuality, he's living in his mom's basement with a lot of college loans and a bordering-terrifying collection of expensive hand-forged bone-handle knives
― remy bean, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 20:21 (eighteen years ago)
or he's a sad bagpiper who lost his instrument
― remy bean, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 20:22 (eighteen years ago)
either way, he's carrying on an on-again/off-again fling with a short girl named Lori who's working on her MLS at community college
― remy bean, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 20:24 (eighteen years ago)
no I think that guy is just bored
― El Tomboto, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 20:24 (eighteen years ago)
outside his bedroom is a windowbox filled with scraggly medieval herbs that he will use in his study of apothecaries.

(these are all true facts about my friend childhood nick's brother, who looked like that guy)

I'm normally not a fan of "alternative" music cuz it's usually freaky and weird, but a friend of mine was listening to "Friday I'm in Love" and I LOVED it! I can't stop singing it "I don't care if Monday's blue, Tuesday I don't care about you" it brightens my day every time.
I went to Best Buy and they only had one album, so I went to Wal-Mart and other record stores and I finally found a few albums. Some were great, but some were really WEIRD! "Disintegration" is really depressing for example.
Anyway, I was reading Google trying to find other fun music and I found "I Love Music" so I figured I'd let you guys know about this. I don't know if you're familiar with them--a lot of people don't know about them since they're "alternative" but check them out :)

why all the "VU are uber-white" stuff? they are easily the most doo-wop influenced of any 60s rock band i can think of.

I was the one that made that joke, and it was in reference to the SFJ thread already in progress.
― Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 17 October 2007 17:25 (eighteen years ago)
Ha, my bad. I didn't look at ILM all day yesterday bcuz the luna thing was too engaging.
In any case, ILM Heaven is now built on that fair and verdant hill.
