it's ok, I like some early Chris & Cosey. pretty excited to see TG tonight.
if you're liking early 80's primitive, this is one of the better Schnitzler records, though it's closer to John Bender than acid

just in case anyone missed these, like i did:

obscure lofi japanese electronics 1979/1981. "There is not too much 80s production, but really foggy bass pulses, random voices interspersed, and a lot of rhythmic ideas."

Thanks for the Tolerance--"Divin" is especially great, although it's neat to hear them use more reverbed-out piano on "Anonym"...

Thanks--I haven't made music with Sandro Perri in a long time; we've made a few aborted attempts at recording (little goofy things like a Moondog cover, and other false starts), but for now we just buy records for each other and geek out about other people's music (and have DJed together at parties a few times) for lack of collaborative sparks. Unofficially broken up, but not in a bad way at all, just for lack of ideas/urgency.
Sandro has a whole new batch of singing songs that he's figuring out how to arrange/what people to put together as his backing group (and saving up for studio time, no doubt), and I've been making a lot of self-released home-fi solo clatter as Kanada 70, up at http://www.myspace.com/kanada70music

Hi, Vahid.
Back to regularly scheduled rapidlinx...This Giusto Pio album has been a nice one to fall asleep to midway through and not yet finish listening to. He was buds with Franco Battiato, and this is along similar enough lines to Jukebox, which Pio plays on, or Egitto Prima Delle Sabbie, and was recorded right around then--Koen Holtkamp from Mountains bigged this up on a "Listed" feature at Dusted, so thanks for the tip: http://mutant-sounds.blogspot.com/2008/07/giusto-pio-motore-immobilelp1978italy.html

You Fantastic! "Pals"http://www.sendspace.com/file/n1lhq0
i'm ripping a bunch of my old cds to get rid of and thought this 18 minute track would appeal to folks here. starts off w/two mellow guitars playing loopy, sorta outta tune but melodic stuff and then drums start creeping in until it's just drums drums drums overtaking everything.

― kaiser, Monday, 27 April 2009 18:02 (seventeen years ago)
i was record shopping yesterday and saw 2 records by the pre-eurythmics band The Tourists. anyone heard them? they good?
― (jaxon) ( .) ( .) (jaxon), Monday, 27 April 2009 19:42 (seventeen years ago)
Nah, weak new wave.
― CosMc (Raw Patrick), Monday, 27 April 2009 20:07 (seventeen years ago)
they're bad
& most Eurythmics after 1983 = some great songs hiding in there, but most of the singles are some of the worst songs of the 80's
subtle czukay on french horn outro

swans - labor ep

― 鬼の手 (Edward III), Thursday, 30 April 2009 03:41 (seventeen years ago)
seeing that made look at what I have swans-wise and I never realized White Light and Love of Life are out of print but most tracks have been added to later comps. Is Gira purging Jarboe's contributions or something? Anyway, I have everything except the Great Anhilator, which I remember not liking when it came out, I thought it sounded like a grunge band after the symphonic tape-loop epics of White Light and Love of Life. I should check it out again. I really really really love late Swans. I like early Swans, but I LOVE late Swans.
And my copy of the Filth CD with the remixed labor EP is for sale on amazon.

if you're downloading off those blogs doesn't look like you have much choice since they're both just two big files
but this chromatics stuff is real good imo
1. Healer2. Hands in the Dark3. Ice Hatchets
6. Jade, Diamond, Rubies7. Witnessand also the Silver Apples cover (Program)
and the Glass Candy "Life After Sundown" 12" is great. don't know much of the other stuff on that page
