yeah but on the other hand, i appreciate 'instrumental edits + dash of fx' stuff like the Computer Dreams album. can't really take most of the stuff that keeps the vocals (although a lot of it ends up sounding like lost Tears For Fears tracks which is kind of cool)

i read somewhere (maybe on this thread) that the 情報デスクVIRTUAL album is sourced entirely from some Sega Saturn game.

thanks for posting that 80s library mix, btw, exactly the kind of stuff i've been wanting to dive into.. search: "Silicum" by Claude Larson (not on youtube unfortunately, rest of the album is wack, imo)

I recently d/l'd a cassette rip and it's a bit different - there is what sounds like Japanese talk radio running throughout the whole thing. Pretty cool.
