Reason The violation for which I received this parking citation is for parking more than 12 inches from the curb of the road and for parking facing traffic. I believe that this was unreasonable considering that I was parked away from the curb due to a low ditch between the curb and the edge of the street. I found it unsafe and possibly damaging to park in the ditch, for that I parked only a couple of inches away. I did not realize that parking facing traffic would be a problem considering that I only desired to park right in front of my friend's home instead of across the street and because I was parked on a wide residential road where there is not much traffic. I understand the violation, but I see no real unsafe or inconvenient problems with my parking situation.
Decision Reason Parking this way requires you to drive into oncoming traffic while parking and then again when you leave. This creates a potential hazard. This is a State Ordinance.

Someone working at Goldman Sachs in London shares my name and I frequently get emails he thinks he's forwarding to his personal email I guess. Last week I received an invitation to a GS strategy conference in Zurich and got access to all the presentations. I often receive booking confirmations at expensive hotels around Europe. I don't really understand how this guy still hasn't realized his mistake but hey I had fun looking at those ppt presentations.

Our state has a richly diverse culture and history, and in so many ways NOLA is our capital city, our genesis, the place we went on school field trips as children, and the place to which we've returned to throughout our lives.
