cutty, is there anywhere i can read online about whether verbal contracts are enforceable in NY state and, if so, at what point the agreement is considered complete? i have found and understood equivalent information for the uk, but i may be about to get lawyered by a former bro, so would love to read up a little on how this works in the jurisdiction in which he is likely to try it on. (i am aware i will need a lawyer, but hopefully we won't reach that stage and some background would be useful in the meantime.)
― caek, Tuesday, 22 September 2009 22:04 (sixteen years ago)
contracts law is the common law, so you'd have to look at the NY courts of appeals cases regarding verbal contracts. there are no statutes governing this type of thing.

hey do you have access to lexisnexis or westlaw through your university library? (i'm guessing no). anyway the encyclopedia "new york jurisprudence" might be helpful for your purposes.
― steamed hams (harbl), Wednesday, 23 September 2009 00:41 (sixteen years ago)

― caek, Wednesday, 23 September 2009 00:51 (sixteen years ago)
this may be able to answer your question, if you can somehow get ahold of it

?4u: how did you unbonk the daed daed bird?
also hey dude, where do you buy your hammer/nutrition stuff? i usually raid this co-op by my house that has weekly sales but I'm thinking online might be even cheaper? buy localism guilt?
also: heed vs. perpetuem whey vs. recovery
ALSO:: flavor rex for the above would be great. fruit punch gels suck. raspberry is ok, espresso might be my fave.
― ┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐ (Steve Shasta), Tuesday, 23 February 2010 00:15 (sixteen years ago)
i use heed most of the time during training rides, perpetuem i'll use in the final hour of a race
― shite new answers (cutty), Tuesday, 23 February 2010 00:33 (sixteen years ago)
for gels i prefer clifshot strawberry to hammer vanilla. but those are my favorites.
heed = subtle berryperpetuem = orange vanilla
― shite new answers (cutty), Tuesday, 23 February 2010 00:34 (sixteen years ago)
i don't use hammer whey or recovery, i use bluebonnet whey protein isolate for my shakes

CLIFFSHOT GELS AND DRINK SUCK....I BLAME CLIFFSHOT GEL FOR A MOST EPIC BONK I HAD ON SAT 18 MILES FROM HOME AND DROPPED BY FORMER ULTIMATE BRO, MATT CUDDLER....AND THEIR DRINK IS DISGUSTING
