There will be a bicycle valet parking. Also coming early is probably a good idea, there is only one entrance to the park that will be set up with police barricades and security. Cameras are not encouraged so hide them if you want to get flicks, no strobe photography during the performance please (requested by Boredoms).

getting soaked in rain is like 4th of july tradition for me! i remember once running through the streets of buffalo barefoot in the rain which is totally crazy but i was wearing flip flops and u can not run in those. then i watched ani difranco (laugh it up but it was fun) play in the rain and everyone was wet and crazy and we danced a lot and then they had fireworks and confetti which then stuck to everyone kinda like papier mache. it was fun. i know this is the 7th, but hey, i am kind of thinking of sat as delayed 4th of july insanity/awesomeness.

also how serious is the camera thing, do you know, lauren? it doesn't mention them in the list of no-nos on the website but i don't want to ditch my camera in my hotel room for a whole day :\

ally, i don't know anything beyond what was in that email so i'm not sure if "not encouraged" means keep it hidden, don't use the flash, and things will be cool or if it means that cameras found will be seized.
