I have 2 more on topic questions: Is the awesome Japanese chanting and scatting in the English version? And on the planet of challenges, what is the option that, like the next numbered star, is a green circle but takes you to the KOAC? But is not numbered? (Unclear enough?)

There was some Japanese vocal stuff in the beginning, iirc. It might have been during the opening movie only, though. Where does this occur on your version?

So far, I've gotten to Make a Star 9 and my planet doesn't have anything other then options to make stars or constellations.

In the English version the KOAC's vocals sound like record scracthing.
His english monologues concern the places he's been, his precise concerns regarding the qualities of the katamari he desires, and the exact and many ways in which he's dissapointed. Seems like Momus at times.
