Rihannamator (get bent), Tuesday, 9 September 2014 01:01 (eleven years ago)

my only having access to WiFi at the apt is uh somewhat hampering things

nakh is the wintour of our diss content (darraghmac), Tuesday, 9 September 2014 21:42 (eleven years ago)

starbucks and macdo are good wifi spots and pretty easy to find

iatee, Tuesday, 9 September 2014 21:49 (eleven years ago)

true tho uh it was also a vv conscious attempt at not having access to WiFi while holidaying with a person v likely to create a disturbance if I get caught checking for WiFi too often

Rihannamator (get bent), Wednesday, 10 September 2014 01:27 (eleven years ago)

caek, Wednesday, 10 September 2014 15:46 (eleven years ago)

caek, Wednesday, 10 September 2014 15:49 (eleven years ago)

no 7 and stonehome wine bar are both good if $$$

lag∞n, Wednesday, 10 September 2014 17:41 (eleven years ago)

son of a lewd monk (Dr Morbius), Wednesday, 10 September 2014 17:45 (eleven years ago)

i dont love that place but its alright

lag∞n, Wednesday, 10 September 2014 17:46 (eleven years ago)

lag∞n, Wednesday, 10 September 2014 17:47 (eleven years ago)

67 burger is $$$ for what it is

caek, Wednesday, 10 September 2014 18:38 (eleven years ago)

always kinda disappointed by the food options near BAM. smoke joint is not bad but it's not cheap & It gets to crowded in there for me.
i'll be down there tonight to see "sprout wings & fly" at 9:30ish.

ian, Wednesday, 10 September 2014 21:04 (eleven years ago)

Hey JBR, near BAM I like Bati for Ethiopian, Café Lafayette, Frank's Cocktail Lounge and Greenlight Bookstore.

Virginia Plain, Wednesday, 10 September 2014 21:07 (eleven years ago)

nothing good right in the vicinity but franny's and Romans are the two best italian joints in the city and they're each within a 15 minute walk

max, Wednesday, 10 September 2014 23:09 (eleven years ago)

Also kaz an nou is a great French Caribbean place sorta nearby on 6th and dean. Haven't been in a while but food was great as of 18 months ago.

max, Wednesday, 10 September 2014 23:10 (eleven years ago)

show didn't get out until pretty late but ty for the recs and i will keep them in mind for next time (also franny's rules).

replacements gustafsson (get bent), Thursday, 11 September 2014 05:12 (eleven years ago)

+1 on frannys
great place to meet waitresses if you're professor x

the other song about butts in the top 5 (forksclovetofu), Thursday, 11 September 2014 06:06 (eleven years ago)

Interesting if true

caek, Thursday, 11 September 2014 09:42 (eleven years ago)

franny's is dead to me tbh. haven't tried marco's yet.

dmr, Thursday, 11 September 2014 09:45 (eleven years ago)

marcos is like a less good romans. no situations where frannys wouldnt be preferable.

max, Thursday, 11 September 2014 10:31 (eleven years ago)

Anyone else been to colonia verde?

caek, Thursday, 11 September 2014 11:11 (eleven years ago)

I had a pretty good dinner there once

max, Thursday, 11 September 2014 12:29 (eleven years ago)

the other song about butts in the top 5 (forksclovetofu), Thursday, 11 September 2014 14:54 (eleven years ago)

frannys is good but pretty over priced for what u get imho

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 September 2014 15:25 (eleven years ago)

i read about this new Senegalese place in Crown Hts in the Times yesterday that sounds p dope

son of a lewd monk (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 11 September 2014 15:27 (eleven years ago)

u know what place in cr heights is fn bomb that jamican restaurant the islands, the food is super legit and its like a handmade boat inside

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 September 2014 15:30 (eleven years ago)

what else is really good as far as caribbean food around there thats more contempo but also v chill and not very pricey is gladys, gladys is bomb

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 September 2014 15:34 (eleven years ago)

frannys has always been overpriced but I was willing to do it because the food was good. but I had a middling to bad meal there the last time ... not feeling their new space either.

co-sign the islands and kaz an nou

also chuko & bar chuko (across street from each other on vanderbilt) are both v good

dmr, Thursday, 11 September 2014 18:35 (eleven years ago)

never had a bad meal at franny's which is priced right with the rest of Brooklyn restaurants... Too expensive but not more so than its peers imo

max, Thursday, 11 September 2014 20:06 (eleven years ago)

Love islands but it's way too far from bam to be worth it as a pre or post show meal

Chuko and bar chuko are probably close enough and both good. I've never eaten at chuko without a 45 minute plus wait tho
