rip dom passantino 3/5/09 never forget (max), Thursday, 12 March 2009 13:38 (seventeen years ago)

this is just prins thomas, not prins + idjuts, right?

yeah I think so, that's how it's credited on discogs, as a PT alias

dmr, Thursday, 12 March 2009 13:47 (seventeen years ago)

this is good too, got this link in a blogspam email but it's pretty cool

Transmission one features music from pioneering electronic composer Fred Judd, Canadian pop-psych group The Sugar Shoppe and British jazz artist Bob Downes amongst further library mood music, spaced out rock and electronics.

OK, i'm an idiot. i'm using the "sendspace wizard" which has a "select screen", a "transfer screen", and a "completed transfers".

i deleted all of the "completed transfers" without realizing that would delete the files on sendspace! shit.

i still have the mp3s, will re-post gradually today.

(jaxon) ( .) ( .) (jaxon), Thursday, 12 March 2009 18:28 (seventeen years ago)

you now it really bothers me that it would take me like six months to listen to all of my CDs if i started today

moonship journey to baja, Thursday, 12 March 2009 18:39 (seventeen years ago)

moonship journey to baja, Thursday, 12 March 2009 19:18 (seventeen years ago)

not paying rent is kind of the ultimate game changer tho

cutty, Thursday, 12 March 2009 19:22 (seventeen years ago)

the thing about major swellings is that they all sounds SO familiar

moonship journey to baja, Friday, 13 March 2009 16:10 (seventeen years ago)

hey, what with all the idjuts chatter is anyone amenable to upping that meanderthals record? can post the new afrobutt lp ("wunderbutt"), which rules, if that would plump anyone as well

Bangelo, Friday, 13 March 2009 17:40 (seventeen years ago)

i was JUST going to ask that. people keep mentioning it, i would love to hear in full. i think beta blog may have it?

all-seeing eye of horus (psychgawsple), Friday, 13 March 2009 17:46 (seventeen years ago)

^^^re: meanderthals

all-seeing eye of horus (psychgawsple), Friday, 13 March 2009 17:47 (seventeen years ago)

much thanks, baja. been tracking down as much of the Idjuts' work as possible, but it all disappears so fast and gets pricey.

i know i have been hyping Meanderthals (and Afrobutt is great fun as well) and while i'm grateful for rad OOP rare stuff posted here, i'm averse to giving away that which isn't mine (not to mention both these things will be available in shops shortly). sorry, but in my position, it's a trust thing with these artists (not to menton pr and labels and managers and editors and friends) and i can't betray that.
