The M/A/R/R/S b-side will always be <3 <3. It's pretty much just A.R. Kane on that one, I think.

Capitaine Jay Vee, Tuesday, 10 March 2009 01:39 (seventeen years ago)

i've been wanting to hear the Wok Tish EP again for at least 10 years. Anyone?

thanks ☪!

It's pretty much just A.R. Kane on that one, I think.

yeah the credit says something like music AR Kane, drums Colourbox

AR Kane gets a guitar credit on Pump Up the Volume too. I had no idea

dmr, Tuesday, 10 March 2009 12:30 (seventeen years ago)

that's the AR in MARRS!

mizzell, Tuesday, 10 March 2009 13:30 (seventeen years ago)

thanks for that dissident vol. 1, psychg. agree upon hearing that vol 2 is the winner. but it may grow on me.

andrew m., Tuesday, 10 March 2009 19:25 (seventeen years ago)

anyone got digital version of omar s "the further you look..."? i have the vinyl but it's a bad pressing. flawed grooves from about 3/4 thru to the end! bummed.

andrew m., Tuesday, 10 March 2009 19:28 (seventeen years ago)

i think all i have is a ripped copy of that flawed vinyl, as the low end is distorted in an unflattering way for much of the tune

attn. jaxon/max/anyone into soft rocks, mountain of one type stuff

i'm loving this mix:
http://aholeintheskyblog.blogspot.com/2009/01/hits-summer-mix-vol-2.html

met that dude briefly when he was in nyc last year, nice guy

dmr, Wednesday, 11 March 2009 19:59 (seventeen years ago)

apparently i've listened to that one before because the link was already visited. just listened again. great mix.

(jaxon) ( .) ( .) (jaxon), Wednesday, 11 March 2009 21:16 (seventeen years ago)

Theo track is kicking my ass btw!

Plaxico (I know, right?), Thursday, 12 March 2009 01:17 (seventeen years ago)

the guy who did that mix came to Dazzle Ships, this is his blog:

http://tropicalhotdognight.blogspot.com/

He also came to the infamous Crazy Rhythms reunion DJ gig at Secret Project Robot. You'd think they'd have to hold that at Le Poison Rouge or something, but nope, my name was on the bill too so they didn't have to worry about too many people showing up.

dan selzer, Thursday, 12 March 2009 03:40 (seventeen years ago)

you are a funny man

this is just prins thomas, not prins + idjuts, right?

yeah I think so, that's how it's credited on discogs, as a PT alias

dmr, Thursday, 12 March 2009 13:47 (seventeen years ago)

this is good too, got this link in a blogspam email but it's pretty cool

http://feeds2.feedburner.com/thesimonsoundtransmission

Transmission one features music from pioneering electronic composer Fred Judd, Canadian pop-psych group The Sugar Shoppe and British jazz artist Bob Downes amongst further library mood music, spaced out rock and electronics.

dmr, Thursday, 12 March 2009 14:01 (seventeen years ago)

OK, i'm an idiot. i'm using the "sendspace wizard" which has a "select screen", a "transfer screen", and a "completed transfers".

i deleted all of the "completed transfers" without realizing that would delete the files on sendspace! shit.

i still have the mp3s, will re-post gradually today.

cutty, Thursday, 12 March 2009 18:14 (seventeen years ago)

thanking you

(jaxon) ( .) ( .) (jaxon), Thursday, 12 March 2009 18:28 (seventeen years ago)

you now it really bothers me that it would take me like six months to listen to all of my CDs if i started today

short answer is i do more buying than listening TBH

moonship journey to baja, Thursday, 12 March 2009 18:39 (seventeen years ago)

and that's assuming four solid hours of listening a night

moonship journey to baja, Thursday, 12 March 2009 18:41 (seventeen years ago)

cutty, Thursday, 12 March 2009 18:57 (seventeen years ago)

moonship journey to baja, Thursday, 12 March 2009 19:18 (seventeen years ago)

not paying rent is kind of the ultimate game changer tho

cutty, Thursday, 12 March 2009 19:22 (seventeen years ago)

you could do way better in new york, i'll bet. find a kuwaiti oil heiress who's also a model. wait, isn't there one of those in your band already?

moonship journey to baja, Thursday, 12 March 2009 19:38 (seventeen years ago)
