That's some serious bullshit. Lots of parents are incapable of unconditional love for their children ime, so i don't know how you can say ONLY parents can truly love unconditionally. If you've never experienced unconditional love for anyone but your children, good for you, but don't paint the rest of us with that brush.

Unconditional love between adults = co-dependency. My love definitely has conditions. Like no beards (also no misogyny or substance addiction, that kind of thing).

either that or you are capable of conflicting emotions like "I really will always love her, even if I will never see her again because she's in prison for stabbing me 37 times"

i am yet to come across a condition that's tested my love for my children, i'm guessing a lot of people have the same experience - unconditionalness is a hypothetical most of the time

"the same experience" = not limiting that to a relationship with yr kids. just saying that plenty of loving relationships probly never get tested to the point of finding out where the conditions lie
