i got the hangover gang over

i'm gonna tee-total it one of these weeks soon.

I kind of want to get shitfaced at a bad show and do stupid shit, but I think after two drinks tonight I wd pass out from tiredness.

there is no way i could get a hangover that lasts til 4 pm off three beers. i can only conclude that i have contracted a terminal disease that mimics severe hangover symptoms and that i might die.

later got pulled over for faulty taillight, but let go by nice cop

today: tasty sandwiches and football. not bad.

"tasty sandwiches and football" describes my current situation too! only the football is in the form of friday night lights episodes.

Over dinner with parents had a couple of Macallan 12 to start, several glasses of merlot, then dessert wine with several cigarettes. Joined a few friends at the bar, where I gulped several Bombay and tonics (two for one night! yay!). I got home and spent two hours on the phone with a chum angrily arguing about Michael Chabon.

When I walked into my living room this morning David Bowie's "New York's in Love" was blasting from my computer.

i tried to get into "friday night lights" but couldn't. maybe i should rent the movie, tho.

the movie is great!

i'm pretty into the show too.

i'll probably never see it now that it's on friday nights.

the wife LOVES friday night lights. she and her boss' husband have ginormous crushes on Tim Riggins. the only reason i would look over my shoulder at that show had to go and turn herself into a born again xtian :(

yahh, 2d season has been superlame...landry/tyra murderfest subplot is so so poor...overall its pretty watchable tho...all about closeups of pretty people and white teeth.

my friend sara does all the drumming for friday night lights. shes just 1 little girl and it sounds like a marching band! (over dubbing)

my roommates are about to watch all of this episodes of friday night lights right now. on the computer, but piped through the TV so it's watchable.

i had the gang over this morning, but now i have had hell of breakfasts and much coffee, so everything's fine.

Hungover yard work is great, now that it's finally cooled down outside. I drank bourbon last night and saw Man Man, I should have a much more massive headache. I did manage to fuck my foot up pretty good. I should know better than to wear sandles on a bicycle by now.

Here, I have pancakes and corned beef hash and espresso. Also: grade B maple syrup, which I don't notice is that much different? But tasty.

Actually I have a lot of pancake batter. WHO WANTS SOME?

maple syrup grades refer to color not quality. imna make some crepes in a minute and put syrup all over em.

i shd probably drink some of my 'st nick's ginger ale' i bought last night for exactly this purpose

watched annie hall at a friend's place while eating drunk pizza, slept over and woke up spooning her, continued to do so until noon
