I actually thought about telling my parents to stay in Flushing because there are nice clean hotels there and it's so close by. Last time they stayed in Jersey City which makes no fucking sense.

If I was a good son though I'd just buy an air mattress and we'd sleep in the living room and give them our room.

man once you get a sweet ass apt for less than a hotel theres no goin back, there are even ones thatre defacto hotels that don't have anyones weird stuff in them cause no one lives there

btw it looks like the Wyndham in LIC is like 100ish a night. Pretty good.

tons of hotels in LIC and Flushing, some even in walking distance to some kind of transportation and or culture. But BEWARE, many LIC area hotels in really terrible areas really far from everything and offer no help other than being halfway between LAG and Manhattan.

yeah that Wyndham one is actually not too far from Court Square. Don't know about immediate vicinity, but it's close to the water so it can't be that bad.
