Oh shit I always make an exception for Gewurtztraminer (sp?) too.

I LIKE THE SWEET SHIT.

i used to be able to drink a full magnum of cheap-ass red nightly my junior year of college, god help me but i don't know how i survived

elmo argonaut, Friday, 21 September 2007 18:38 (eighteen years ago)

I remember you telling me around that time your perfect high was two bowls and a bottle of cab sauv. I was left imagining the shambling vomity horrorshow I would become if I attempted that sort of "perfection"

Peej, Friday, 21 September 2007 19:27 (eighteen years ago)

So I'm assuming that the East Coast has not been blessed with the limited edition "after the hunt" miller high life cans, which are blaze orange?

That is what I have been drinking.

John Justen, Friday, 21 September 2007 19:34 (eighteen years ago)

The picture does not do the can justice. It's really really blaze orange.

John Justen, Friday, 21 September 2007 19:37 (eighteen years ago)

I haven't had any alcohol since labor day outside of a couple of sips of beer last saturday. it's a remarkably cost-effective way to live since it also means I smoke a lot less, unfortunately I am now unable to get any sleep.

El Tomboto, Friday, 21 September 2007 19:42 (eighteen years ago)

Sleep = too expensive

Jon Lewis, Friday, 21 September 2007 19:42 (eighteen years ago)

i'm gonna tee-total it one of these weeks soon.

river wolf, Friday, 21 September 2007 19:52 (eighteen years ago)

I kind of want to get shitfaced at a bad show and do stupid shit, but I think after two drinks tonight I wd pass out from tiredness.

Laurel, Friday, 21 September 2007 19:57 (eighteen years ago)

there is no way i could get a hangover that lasts til 4 pm off three beers. i can only conclude that i have contracted a terminal disease that mimics severe hangover symptoms and that i might die.

bell_labs, Friday, 21 September 2007 20:06 (eighteen years ago)

That seems reasonable.

Laurel, Friday, 21 September 2007 20:12 (eighteen years ago)

Catsupppppppppppppp dude 茄蕃, Friday, 21 September 2007 20:13 (eighteen years ago)

If you can't bend your head forward far enough for your chin to touch your chest, you have spinal meningitis and are going to die.

If you can bend your head forward etc etc, don't sweat it, drink more beers.

Jon Lewis, Friday, 21 September 2007 20:17 (eighteen years ago)

i'm dying. i will see you all in hell

cheers!

bell_labs, Friday, 21 September 2007 20:23 (eighteen years ago)

We will make a beautiful memorial thread for you, replete with lovingly chosen jpgs of dead giraffes and perverted furries.

today: tasty sandwiches and football. not bad.

hstencil, Sunday, 7 October 2007 20:30 (eighteen years ago)

"tasty sandwiches and football" describes my current situation too! only the football is in the form of friday night lights episodes.

s1ocki, Sunday, 7 October 2007 20:44 (eighteen years ago)

Over dinner with parents had a couple of Macallan 12 to start, several glasses of merlot, then dessert wine with several cigarettes. Joined a few friends at the bar, where I gulped several Bombay and tonics (two for one night! yay!). I got home and spent two hours on the phone with a chum angrily arguing about Michael Chabon.

When I walked into my living room this morning David Bowie's "New York's in Love" was blasting from my computer.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Sunday, 7 October 2007 21:52 (eighteen years ago)

i tried to get into "friday night lights" but couldn't. maybe i should rent the movie, tho.

hstencil, Sunday, 7 October 2007 21:55 (eighteen years ago)

the movie is great!

i'm pretty into the show too.

s1ocki, Sunday, 7 October 2007 21:58 (eighteen years ago)

i'll probably never see it now that it's on friday nights.

hstencil, Sunday, 7 October 2007 22:01 (eighteen years ago)

the show is awesome!

horseshoe, Sunday, 7 October 2007 22:08 (eighteen years ago)

Black Pepper Pringles + Lemon Mousse + William Basinski = Good Hangover

Noodle Vague, Saturday, 13 October 2007 13:33 (eighteen years ago)

the wife LOVES friday night lights. she and her boss' husband have ginormous crushes on Tim Riggins. the only reason i would look over my shoulder at that show had to go and turn herself into a born again xtian :(

jaxon, Saturday, 13 October 2007 22:06 (eighteen years ago)

yahh, 2d season has been superlame...landry/tyra murderfest subplot is so so poor...overall its pretty watchable tho...all about closeups of pretty people and white teeth.

johnny crunch, Saturday, 13 October 2007 23:47 (eighteen years ago)

my friend sara does all the drumming for friday night lights. shes just 1 little girl and it sounds like a marching band! (over dubbing)

chaki, Sunday, 14 October 2007 01:30 (eighteen years ago)

o my god i am so hungover and have so much shit to do :(

s1ocki, Sunday, 14 October 2007 17:10 (eighteen years ago)

my roommates are about to watch all of this episodes of friday night lights right now. on the computer, but piped through the TV so it's watchable.

i had the gang over this morning, but now i have had hell of breakfasts and much coffee, so everything's fine.

river wolf, Sunday, 14 October 2007 19:02 (eighteen years ago)

Hungover yard work is great, now that it's finally cooled down outside. I drank bourbon last night and saw Man Man, I should have a much more massive headache. I did manage to fuck my foot up pretty good. I should know better than to wear sandles on a bicycle by now.

nickalicious, Sunday, 14 October 2007 19:48 (eighteen years ago)
