sometimes i order a stella just so i can drink it out of that fancy glass.

Jordan, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 15:52 (eighteen years ago)

stella is skunky like 75% of the time for some reason

bell_labs, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 15:54 (eighteen years ago)

is stella really that bad? or just overpriced? i think i had it once but it was pretty unmemorable

carne asada, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 15:55 (eighteen years ago)

it's completely inoffensive except that it seems to go bad really quickly or easily?

my wife had one a few months ago--she kind of struggled with it. i was surprised and relieved that nothing got spilled or broken.

mookieproof, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 16:31 (eighteen years ago)

oh god that glass is embarrassing. i swear i'd had it before in a normal glass... then i ordered it somewhere else, already a little tanked, and i get this fucking victorian scientific contraption to deal with, the whole bar staring

gff, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 17:07 (eighteen years ago)

this is the kind of thing i go through

gff, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 17:08 (eighteen years ago)

gff, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 17:12 (eighteen years ago)

It's all about death, suffering, and the New York Yankees.

Laurel, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 17:18 (eighteen years ago)

if you're a yankees fan all you've got is suffering.

chicago kevin, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 17:19 (eighteen years ago)

Also since I'm listening to alt-country today, it appears to be about heartbreak, liquor, and coming home to your guitar, who's the only girl you can really trust anyway.

Laurel, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 17:20 (eighteen years ago)

where noizers become legends

chicago kevin, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 17:23 (eighteen years ago)

If you could hold your woman like you hold your whiskey
I'd still be in your arms
If you're gonna fill your glass and leave my heart empty
Then let old Jack Daniel's keep you warm

kenan, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 17:24 (eighteen years ago)

69, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 19:53 (eighteen years ago)

hates the BUS

Mr. Que, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 19:55 (eighteen years ago)

who gets cellphone service on the subway?!

bell_labs, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 19:56 (eighteen years ago)

i do i do

Mr. Que, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 19:57 (eighteen years ago)

there was a douchebag on the bus this morning trying to negotiate a lower rate on a credit card or something before finally canceling his account. talked way too loud the entire ride then not only left his newspaper on the seat but drank the last of his coffee and dropped the cup on the floor inside the bus before stepping out the back door. THERE WAS A FUCKING TRASH BARREL RIGHT THERE!!! i found it disproportionately infuriating.

they put cellular one service in the tunnels in chicago last summer. i'm quite surprised murder rates haven't increased a thousand fold.

chicago kevin, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 19:58 (eighteen years ago)

verizon has an exclusive lease on the underground cabling tunnels in DC from back when they got the contract for the subway pay phones

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 20:02 (eighteen years ago)

-- thinks buses are great

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 20:03 (eighteen years ago)

69, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 20:06 (eighteen years ago)

rrrobyn, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 20:06 (eighteen years ago)

69, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 20:07 (eighteen years ago)

hahaha

rrrobyn, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 20:08 (eighteen years ago)

i love riding the bus, it's brighter than the metro, it's um blue instead of nasty orange and white, somehow more relaxing less crowded.

repetition can be good. did i even spell that right?

Mr. Que, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 20:10 (eighteen years ago)

i just would choose subway over bus. and biking over that.
maybe b/c i've spent a lot of my life on public transit buses. also i get a little motion-ill too ugh

rrrobyn, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 20:11 (eighteen years ago)

tell me more about these fresh air/pretty girl buses

gff, Tuesday, 8 January 2008 20:11 (eighteen years ago)

i am sure in most big cities the bus is fun, but in denver everytime i ride the bus it seems most passengers are hobos and stinky people in starter jackets

so i just drive my suburban SUV instead. i left it running in the parking garage while i ran into work real quick (8 hours).
