so i'm staying on grand st/bushwick ave in an airbnb i got around there.

that's a good spot. grand st is my favorite part of williamsburg, it has kept some of the old puerto rican flavor mixed with newer stuff. kinda feels like the mission in SF a little bit.
Grand Morelos has good Mexican food in a open all nite diner setting, you got Huckleberry for fancy cocktails and snacks, Carmine's on graham has good pizza, Daddy's and Harefield Road are nice bars.

yeah it was a bit pricier to be around there but reckon it's worth it.

No MBV for me, sorry. Just saw that Jonathan Richman is playing next week at the Bowery Ballroom, thinking about trying to go to that. If he does "Foggy Notion" or even "Velvet Underground" might lose it though.

I actually didn't get MBV tickets myself (wasn't sure at last minute because I had to delay the trip out a couple days). Am thinking of heading up there to see if I can get a scalped one.

Am here now, lagged and awake very early. Got in late last night and had a beer in that Spuyten Duyvil place, nice little bar. Went to Fette Sau cos it was across the road, lol obvious tourists.

Fette Sau was okay, food was a bit cold, room was a bit cold too, I figure it's more a summer place? I had seen kinda mixed reviews.

Might go to some museums today, and attempt to stay out later tonight. And also buy a wooly hat.
