Apologies, I was mainly just amused by the (unintentional?)suggestion that the sadface bowl-cut guy is sublimating his frustrated sexual urges into woodwork, but there's enough of this ugly stuff around anyway, sorry for bringing it up again.

oh, i'm the one who posted them, no need for you to apologize. i hadn't delved into the world of conservative sandra fluke macros before. it is disturbing.

i will say that i was skeptical the boycott of limbaugh over his fluke comments would have any longterm effect, that any sponsors that were scared off would be back pretty quickly, but this hasn't turned out to be the case - well over a year later that campaign is still clearly hurting him.

and yeah the hate directed at michelle obama is pretty straight forwardly loathsome and usually more blatantly racist than the stuff directed at her husband (i guess cuz there they can more easily resort to 'america's hitler/stalin/mao'). the rightwing meme that she's 'fat' (esp when used to express outrage at her campaign against childhood obesity) is particularly mystifying. there's one macro on that site i won't link here but i found pretty amusing, it was yr standard 'look how ghetto/trashy michelle obama dresses' that has her w/ sarah palin, 'trashy vs classy', and it's amusing to me cuz they're both wearing animal prints but only michelle's photo is of her dressed up for halloween.
