was that photo taken specifically for that piece or is it (as i'd prefer to think) an entirely unrelated photo from what was a sweet family moment that has now been ruined forever

Steve Spell II 1 week ago
Yeah man if it's one thing I do well is hit HARD with the nunchucks and that glass was not budging a bit! I was putting every fiber of my being my entire body into the blows and that glass wasn't giving! It was only until I unleashed the epic combos and really got crazy that I started to do some destruction but still it took almost 5 minutes to break through WTF

They're "special" all right.

pplains, Monday, 2 September 2013 14:52 (ten years ago) link

Steve Spell II, born and raised on the bayou's of Louisiana has taken this ancient martial arts weapon and practiced basic fundamental strikes and swings to perfection. By keeping it simple and mastering the basics, the nunchucks transform from a baton twirling, freestyle circus act to a lethal, super sonic, blitzkrieg weapon capable of dishing out blunt force trauma at amazing speeds with precision and killing power! For years, one man, deep in the bayou has perfected the art of self defense by being able to overcome any potential attacker with overwhelming speed and destructive power! Keeping his mind clear by only learning basic swings, his potential has never been limited. "Learn a few basic strikes and learn them well", "Who cares if you can throw the nunchucks up into the air and catch them behind your back"? That's not what they were designed to do. When I first started working with this weapon it was all about protecting myself in the woods, from wild animals, and I doubt very seriously wild animals, savage beast, or any aggressor for that matter is going to start clapping his hands and yelling "Bravo" when the weapon goes flying off into outer space! NEVER lose contact with your weapon, don't practice or train, losing contact with your weapon. I remember being a boy and my mother yelling at the top of her lungs at an alligator, fearful it would eat the dogs. The alligator showed no fear and continued to swim toward the kennels out by the bayou. I never have had a gun, but I came running with my chucks and whacked the gator on his back! The animal rolled in disbelief and immediately went under water in retreat. It was from this day on that I decided to really apply myself with these sticks and the amount of force that can be generated is truly legendary. With all of that being said, I am still learning. People never stop learning, they just mature and get smarter. Video games like minecraft, league of legends, oblivion, world of warcraft and skyrim have never seen weapons used like this. HA
