this is probably not the place to get on this particular soapbox but the whole "WHOA WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE TO WATCH THIS STONED!!!!!" meme is idiotic.

if you watched this stoned, you might do one or several of the following
- laugh more and longer than you would not stoned
- talk more in the movie theater, annoying other patrons
- lose your train of thought frequently, with a line or scene perhaps suggesting a long series of fantasies or random associations; consequently you might find it a bit more difficult to follow the narrative

This is more or less true for every movie. if you're the sort who can get paranoid smoking weed, and you're watching a scary movie, it might bug you out to an unpleasant degree.

i mean, what do you think will happen? you think the film has some secret code buried the mise-en-scene that will only appear to those who are high?

I have no love for the 1973 (or thereabouts) nova, as that was the one my mom had that would stall out constantly on the way to school and generally sucked

my cousin lovingly restored a 70s nova in high school and then literally wrapped it around a telephone pole while we were in it. it's a miracle we weren't killed/maimed. the car hit the pole on the passenger side backseat in a sideways skid, nearly tearing the car in half. the car then spun back onto the road and came to a rest facing 180 degrees in the other direction. to get out we had to crawl through a hole ripped in the backseat opposite of the impact point. no seatbelts! if we had hit the pole a foot or two closer to the front passenger side I woulda been a grease spot, and if you saw a picture of the car afterwards you wouldn't believe anyone walked away from it.

^almost bought one once for $800. owner was having money trouble, unfortunately so was I.

my mom said her first car was an early 60s valiant. she didn't realize you had to change the oil from time to time and wound up seizing the engine.

my mom's first car was a 60s valiant too! she sold it some time around my 2nd brother being born and got a 70s vw van. which we had for like ever.

Are these cars just new in the US? They were to be seen frequently in London at least five years ago, maybe even more.

they're new in the u.s., but only the fortwo line is being sold here at the moment. they're selling really well, apparently!
