He is from Scotland. That's probably not enough is it?
― xyzzzz__, Saturday, 29 December 2007 11:05 (eighteen years ago)
It's confusing cos there was a Roger Adultery-puppet called Jeb for a while I think.
― Noodle Vague, Saturday, 29 December 2007 12:25 (eighteen years ago)

― lauren, Saturday, 29 December 2007 17:45 (eighteen years ago)
I give great gropes.
― dell, Saturday, 29 December 2007 18:09 (eighteen years ago)
so nobody knows who bo jackson overdrive is? is he a new guy like nate carson? they are both on ilm a lot and i can't tell if they have always been there under different names or if they are just natural ilm types. have no idea how you would grow up to be a natural ilm type, but there you have it...
― scott seward, Saturday, 29 December 2007 20:01 (eighteen years ago)
he claimed to be new to posting but has lurked for a couple years I think? got a brief temp ban in a first flurry of posting, there was discussion of it on that "spock-a-like alert" modreq thread.
who is The Reverend? in old-user-name-speak, I mean.
― sleeve, Saturday, 29 December 2007 20:32 (eighteen years ago)
the reverend is rodney. um, wait, he had another name though...
― scott seward, Saturday, 29 December 2007 21:05 (eighteen years ago)
rodney is very cool. we had fun up in seattle with him and ned and donut bitch and everyone. jaq. geeta. alfred. everyone was nice. ilx people tend to be pretty nice in public. even nate and matos were nice. mark s was nice. dave stelfox was nice. oh they were all nice. i didn't get to talk to donna brown. maybe she wasn't nice! but she probably was.
― scott seward, Saturday, 29 December 2007 21:08 (eighteen years ago)
Rodney J Greene?
― Dom Passantino, Saturday, 29 December 2007 21:09 (eighteen years ago)
i don't know when i will meet more. i don't think i'm leaving the house in 2008. maybe i should have a spring fling at my house.
― scott seward, Saturday, 29 December 2007 21:10 (eighteen years ago)
rodney greene, yup. he is very nice. mike powell was very nice! don't think he posts on ilm much though.
― scott seward, Saturday, 29 December 2007 21:11 (eighteen years ago)
dylan hicks was very nice. simon reynolds was very nice. so was cosmo lee. too bad cosmo doesn't post on ilm. i like his take on things. plus, he's a rilly good writer.
― scott seward, Saturday, 29 December 2007 21:14 (eighteen years ago)
yeti mike was very cool. the main stylus dude was very nice. todd? he doesn't post on ilx though.
― scott seward, Saturday, 29 December 2007 21:15 (eighteen years ago)
I am just garden variety underemployed creepy Amer-lurker with tendencies towards occasional flurries of overposting. I have never met anyone here in person as far as I know, with the exception of some U.K. people who I don't think even post here anymore (one of them being Momus... at some party (lol)).
I might be in the bay area next month, and if so I will try to (benignly) stalk people from here...or barring that, I will at least get a friend w/digital camera to capture my image and then post to wdyll. It will be really fun trying to convince said friend(s) that I am not placing an online personal ad or something, but merely being taking an exhibitionistic turn in the theater of some massage borad.
― dell, Saturday, 29 December 2007 21:19 (eighteen years ago)
i was happy to see the noizerz in new york like jon and ian and bb - and i was shocked to meet nabisco, i had no idea he would be there - but what i really thought was cool was that sang froid showed up there! from long island! okay, that's not that far, but still... and he is just a cool dude. very knowledgeable and very cool and one of the people that makes ilm bearable for me. he doesn't create a stir though. he's not in it for that. which is why you might not notice him sometimes. i really appreciate people like him.
― scott seward, Saturday, 29 December 2007 21:22 (eighteen years ago)
i get dell confused with my pal don allred who is now, um, something like dell. dow?
― scott seward, Saturday, 29 December 2007 21:23 (eighteen years ago)
I don't remember seeing a "dow". Dell was a piss-poor choice of handle in some ways, I s'pose. It sounds like I was stumped for a name and then looked down at the imprint of my laptop. But I don't even have a Dell-- I have someother nonsense pc. I think I chose it b/c it was kind of gender-ambiguous? Plus I was severely imagination-impaired at the time, presumably.
― dell, Saturday, 29 December 2007 21:32 (eighteen years ago)
donna brown is the nice nicest, like nicer than all those people upthread put together. she came to my house to a big party and the next morning she, out of all people, was the one i wished i'd talked to more, that i wanted to invite over for dinner. nice!
― jergïns, Sunday, 30 December 2007 18:55 (eighteen years ago)

You know, I too was once compelled to ask Jaymc to investigate me.
He did his research and sent me a picture of my house.
Watch what you ask for.

pretty LOLZ that someone thought i was pretzel walrus.. i reckon its because MANATEE'S AND WALRUSES ARE BOTH FATTEYS!
― homosexual II, Wednesday, 27 February 2008 22:40 (eighteen years ago)
Tell me about the differences between max and ice craem. I wouldn't say I get them confused exactly, but I think they have a similar posting style that leads me to not differentiate them as well as I should.
I do know that max is just out of college (0ccid3ntal, where he was a big critical-theory nerd), but I don't know if he is still in California or if he has moved back east? I am pretty sure ice craem has been in NYC for a few years.
I was going to say that max is more into dance music and ice craem more into NFL, but it looks like max posts on ILNFL, too.
