It was a 2-drink minimum and there is probably no time in my life I have not had more than two drinks if I went to a bar so it wouldn't have been a problem, it was just a hot day and several people asked to start with water and the hostess was insistent.

may i suggest we find some place with a $4 or $5 shot & beer special for those of us who are underemployed.

no, but apparently they don't really mean anything. i have a UK license which works fine when i hire a car or whatever.
