Three Divisions

"Medium" Division - 7:00 to 8:20
"Hard" Division - 8:30 to 9:50
"Expert" Division - 10:00 to 11:30

Registration:
Registration is free.

Send an email to [email protected] with your name and division to pre-register or you can register in person at Rufus the day of the event. Registration for each division starts now and ends 10 minutes before each competition.

If more than 8 people register for any division, expect the times to expand a bit. I'll keep you posted.

Format and Rules:
It is a face/off. Once everyone for a division is registered, they will randomly be placed in a tree bracket and matched up for the first round of head-to-head competition. If it is necessary for players to receive a "bye" for the first round, the bye's will be awarded to the first person(s) who registered for each division, respectively. A song will be randomly selected for each match. Both competitors in the match will play the song individually in solo-play mode. The highest score wins and advances. Songs will not be repeated within rounds.

NOTE: If you are not present for the start of your match you will be forfeited and your competitor will automatically advance.

Prizes:
For each division:
2nd place will receive a free shot to be determined by the tournament directors.
1st place gets free well drinks and/or cheap beer for the rest of the night (no, it doesn't transfer).

Special secret grand prize to the winner of the "Expert" division.
