That Loud E Cd I promised

Soz for the wait. Busy weekend.

Bernard's Butler (Raw Patrick), Sunday, 15 February 2009 20:53 (seventeen years ago)

all i can tell you is that i found it in the "free music" bin (i mean, freeform experimental, not $0.00) at the local shop and that it sounds like pharoah sanders meets sonny sharrock meets sunroof! meets JOMF meets super roots 1.

moonship journey to baja, Monday, 16 February 2009 06:33 (seventeen years ago)

good enough for me! thanks, will try it

Le Bateau Ivre, Monday, 16 February 2009 07:55 (seventeen years ago)

probably more don cherry or art ensemble than pharoah sanders, actually

all-seeing eye of horus (psychgawsple), Monday, 16 February 2009 09:31 (seventeen years ago)

wow, screwups galore for me on this thread... it was actually Volume TWO

all-seeing eye of horus (psychgawsple), Monday, 16 February 2009 09:36 (seventeen years ago)

what sort of stuff is that? neo-italo?

moonship journey to baja, Monday, 16 February 2009 09:38 (seventeen years ago)

A lotta arpeggios but otherwise a bit dirtier and messier and more acid than that. A lotta tweakin' on hardware knobs.

Bernard's Butler (Raw Patrick), Monday, 16 February 2009 10:01 (seventeen years ago)

death from abroad puts out some dissident stuff, if that helps. it sounds like a sloppier, more exciting version of the supersoul label comp from last year

all-seeing eye of horus (psychgawsple), Monday, 16 February 2009 19:35 (seventeen years ago)

that supersoul comp underrated imo

moonship journey to baja, Monday, 16 February 2009 21:23 (seventeen years ago)

yeah individual tracks from that comp are great. plastique de reve's "lost in the city" was definitely one of my favorites of last year

Milton Parker, Sunday, 22 February 2009 09:28 (seventeen years ago)

someone on the europhoric pianos thread mentioned it was hard to get hold of the old soul capsule stuff on aspect music and law of grace is a fortune on vinyl so voila

straightola, Sunday, 22 February 2009 19:40 (seventeen years ago)

while i grabbed Fistful of Ferrets mix from here, was hoping there might be some other Idjut/Phantom Slasher/ Pastrami Man edits worth absorbing. i've heard the Gloria Gaynor, Chilly, and "Goin' Greek" one, but can someone supply the Bohannon/ Ike and Tina and others of interest? their 12"s disappear so f***in' fast.

beta blog, Wednesday, 25 February 2009 20:18 (seventeen years ago)

pastrami man: http://www.sendspace.com/file/q2z8hj

don't work

(jaxon) ( .) ( .) (jaxon), Thursday, 26 February 2009 06:57 (seventeen years ago)

maybe it's mediafire?

(jaxon) ( .) ( .) (jaxon), Thursday, 26 February 2009 06:57 (seventeen years ago)

i think the problem is you've got a slash where there should be a question mark. but mediafire seems to be having problems ATM and i couldn't figure out if that'd work.
