walking commute is living the dream, it only sucks in that you probably won't have it some day

i decided i am going to walk today, it takes about 32 minutes... one minute shorter than living on top of atlantic station and going to columbia ; )

most of my commute is on an overground train so I just look at ilx or blogs, like my post upthread was a commute post

commutes would be 100x better if they had 3g/lte underground like SOME CITIES do, it's true

you should make yr job pay for yr commute cause you just do the same stuff anyway xp

I have to choose btwn bus, tram or cycle every morning for my 15 min commute it is sheer hell

it's true that 3G on the ubahn in munich made the 50m commute a bit better but mostly i just read books

tmobile has been hella shitty for me when i'm in NJ and fine in NYC

t-mobile worked really bad for me in astoria so I dropped them and got verizon and it was much better. that was years ago though.

yeah apparently they're in the process of making their data network 4g comaptible (before that gsm iphones worked, but only got 2g speeds), and new york was one of the first cities to get the upgrade late last year.

verizon, sprint et al. not an option (via gsm iphone). it's at&t or t-mobile.

what's the weather like in new york at the moment?
