In fifth grade I was in the ward-wide spelling be and got the word "autarchy." The woman had some kind of weird-ass maryland accent and it sound like she was saying "ARRtarchy" or "Octarchy". I got the word wrong and then the judges actually let me back in because they ruled that she didn't pronounce it right. I lost anyway but I think I was one of the last few people.
