Mr. Que, Thursday, 5 February 2009 21:21 (seventeen years ago)

it's just weird how he's compiling a list of every time i've said "blow job" for some...reason yet skipped the fucking v sucking thread!

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Thursday, 5 February 2009 21:22 (seventeen years ago)

i suppose it's never occurred to you, Ally, that some dudes might read about blow jobs, like, way way way less than you do

Ned Raggett (Ned) wrote this on thread did cerebus ever get good again? on board I Love Everything on Feb 12, 2003

The only part of Cerebus I've ever actually read was the conclusion of the Oscar Wilde arc, specifically because of the Wilde connection. I thought it wonderful but I was wondering about the women in the robes framing the whole thing.

Ned Raggett wrote this on thread Perry Farrell or Anthony Kiedis? on board I Love Music on Nov 20, 2001

Ned Raggett (Ned) wrote this on thread What shops do you have fun in? on board I Love Everything on May 14, 2003

Like you need a soap to think of unwashed hobbits...

Frankly, given the state of sanitation that must have existed in Middle Earth, I would rather not think about anything unwashed in that milieu at all. And when the last time Gandalf laundered his robes?

Ned Raggett (Ned) wrote this on thread Rehnquist is dead on board I Love Everything on Sep 4, 2005

Very interesting. As Trife noted, I want the robes so I can be FAAAAAAAAABULOUS.

Sorry if I'm not shedding any tears.

Quite. If this had happened in late January I'd be a lot more immediately worried. Now, however...now I'm not so sure at all.

Ned Raggett (Ned) wrote this on thread Rolling 2005 Metal Thread on board I Love Music on Sep 25, 2005

Dude, Ned, they are like live-action fantasy novels. They are all about pomp and velvet robes. You should really dig that stuff.

Yes, but by this same logic I should be going to sf/fantasy conventions and Ren Faires. Wild horses could not take me to those locations.

yes, in a sense, a very strange sense were we judge the merits of a place on its football club, how its name sounds and its portrayals in crime fiction.

Am I alone in thinking that Moby should be rounded up and shot? Unfortunately, that wouldn't rid us of the crap he's turned out so far (and which is STILL getting plastered over every other fucking tv ad). A Moby CD is really something for those middle-of-the-road, "I've got ten CD's" kind of people, who put it on as background noise during boring dinner parties. Any thoughts on this?

― Rudolf (Rudolf), Friday, December 5, 2003 1:51 AM (5 years ago) Bookmark Suggest Ban Permalink

Playing music during dinner parties is classic, as you'd know if you had any friends or knew how to use a knife and fork.

Concept: Female friend ragging on me for dismissing potential beau as "clearly insane and fucked up" because she mentioned she was into watersports and knifeplay, and "how do you know she's not just a perfectly balanced woman who has kink?"
Era: Two days ago
Analogy: "Yeah, I'm sure there's people who vote for the BNP because they agree with their taxation policy as well"
Flaw: People vote for the BNP because they're racists, not because of economical issues.
