The very second my dodgy aunt started HASSLING me to be her facebook friend I pulled out the plug and let go 70 people and locked it down like fucking crazy. Everyone else will do the same, and in a few short months facebook will be full of old people like a tartan clearance sale.

the only problem w/ whiney's hypothesis is that for anyone in college you basically can't exist w/o facebook, like i'm so entrenched in it and so is everyone i know and my brother who is still in HS is that it won't matter what family members or w/e join. post-college joiners aren't as invested as the core users of fbook imo

I really resent facebook and how mandatory it is

I'm still 100% comfortable with the identity I've constructed for myself on fbook. I feel like it's an accurate representation of me, and I realize that it's something certain people may not be comfortable with. They can fuckin deal. Why am I gonna run and hide that shit if it's me?

I def understand other situations might be more complicated though.

It's complicated when you have an obsessive and clinically-insane mother who'd stalk you if she had half the fucking chance, and her sister is the one hassling me on facebook.

eagle eye while being completely ridiculous actually did tie together at the end - i spent the whole movie going lol this makes 0 sense then it was over and i was like ok u werent just completely making it up as u went along

not seen eagle eye, but surely no one-man-versus-faceless-all-seeing-enemy conspiracy movie will ever match "the game"

the game sucked because in the end it was all just a game

(not counting Bourne because the enemy aren't so much faceless as feckless)
