ok i do have one story: this past year at sxsw i noticed this lineup that had like The Jacka and Husalah on it and i was like, "i'm pretty sure d33j had something to do with this." i ended up going to the set, and i saw a guy who looked like Fred Durst wearing a Chicago Bulls hat taking pictures in the press area. i didn't say anything because i have no idea what he looks like or if it was actually him but i def thought about approaching him.

Why does this not seem so strange to me? I've three times now let touring bands sleep at my place and once met someone for dinner where they've been cagey and/or completely silent about their ILX activity-awareness-participaction. To me that is totally far weirder than marching up to somebody and saying "I know you from a message board, let's talk!"

And by "far weirder" I still mean "not weird at all", your privacy is your own of course.
