I read "flew" as 'blew' the first time there and it made sense.

I like the stylistic touch of having the exact same content in the headline and lede of the story.

Not only was food bad and overpriced, but tables were super cramped in so that I could barely breathe, waiter couldn't get around the table and had to hand stuff to us, and at the end of the meal they gave us customer-satisfaction cards! Which I actually wanted to fill out and complain except I was more insulted by the idea of having to fill one out in a proper restaurant at all.
