i've always thought that ilx was a big lightwave fan board, and we're such fanatics that we don't even need to mention ILX Lightwave anymore because we already know everything about it

Heh, at the time, I thought I was doing the right thing by reading the iconic old threads, like when I was in a fraternity in college, and new members were encouraged to familiarize themselves with fraternity history to demonstrate commitment and cement the bonds of belonging. So when the alumni came around, they'd feel flattered and connected that you knew that member a had an infamous nervous breakdown in 89, and member b did a risque interpretive dance with a yam, and member c was the guy that didn't talk to anyone and microwaved carrots for 5 hours.

somebody should compile a new user guide, maybe w/ a multiple choice test at the end

I think when I made the ilm->ile/etc transition I really could ever remember the people who posted on ilm plus a half dozen. I'm much better now.

My user name used to be WmC, just in case there are any slow children at play.
