Vangelis - My Love - 7" single from the See You Later sessions
just as demented as the rest of the album. sounds like he was listening to a lot of Sparks.
http://www.engelen.demon.nl/seeoutt.htm http://www.vangelismovements.com/mylove.htm
here's the compilation that has the other tracks if you're brave enough for the whole haul
― Milton Parker, Friday, 11 January 2008 22:18 (eighteen years ago)
actually that comp only has the b-side of the 7", it doesn't have 'Gestation' or 'We Are Your Neighbors' (tracks that were left off the album at the last minute that recently surfaced on a white label test pressing from 1980). See You Later is his strangest record, if anyone with soulseek could see if they're around I'd be indebted

will to live - 12" ep (1986) http://www.sendspace.com/file/p3yrc2
it's rare that I actually get off my duff and rip some treasured vinyl artifact to digital format, but ever since amor fati's name was invoked on the ilm pigfucker poll I've been haunted by the hankering to cue up this crusty skull. apparently I'm the only person to have ever owned this record, so the typical slsk / blogspot route was of no avail and I was forced to violate the crypt doors. lucky youse.
featuring the peerless vocal + gtr stylings of perpetual also-ran amor fati aka amaury perez, this is a foghorn leghorn blast of black soot recorded afterhours by the wise, malfunctioning robots of an aluminum can factory. industrial back when industrial meant something besides too much dippity doo in yr hair, it comes on with the spastic mutant lovechild charm of early big black / cab voltaire. hee.

this guy's got the amor fati/vandal-x album, which is also a thing divine:

and booty overflowing the coffers! gives mr. mutantsounds a run for the money.

I heart Thing On The Doorstep very much. And Amaury Perez also. Edward, do you have Body Without Organs or the tape releases? Cause I can post those.

ooh, sleeve please post what you've got. been looking for body w/o organs for a while.
while ripping the will to live 12" I was perusing the flesh records catalog that came with it: a whole bunch of $3-$6 tapes and albums I regret not having splurged on back in '86.

Amor Fati - The White tape
this is a good one. my homemade tape dub lists a track #14 called '#4", but it doesn't add up with the actual tunes. So this might be missing the last track, or maybe I read the titles wrong. Big props to my friend Ken G whose college girlfriend had these tapes and who let me dub them.

anyone know of a good mp3/album blog which specializes in bollywood/indian music?
― omar little, Friday, 18 January 2008 23:07 (eighteen years ago)
just did a blogspot search on RD Burman & Kalyanji Anandji and came up w/these. most of the soundtracks i own are from the early 80s and i dunno if they were just behind the times, but they sound like they're from the late 60s to mid 70s (meaning good).
http://sitardream.blogspot.com/ http://rapidemusic.blogspot.com/ http://mastiboard.blogspot.com/ (you'll have to dig here as it's just a ton of soundtracks, not all bollywood) http://thirdfloormusic.blogspot.com/ (this one looks really promising)
http://threethreefourfive.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html (not sure who this asshole is, but he posted some hindi songs once i guess?)
