The B-side to a rather historic 12-inch, this is the first time that Germany's dub magi have permitted anybody else to lift up the hood on their sound. But it's good that they did, because Herr Delay seems to have found the trembling core of Freddy Mellow's vocal, looping his voice saying, "And the people... don't you see?" This inquiry beams through the smoke of a weirdly hip-house-esque party track, but leaves Freddy all alone with his question at the center. The result is kind of like that photo that's doing the rounds on the internet of a scrawny hipster crying his eyes out in the middle of a club while people stand around taking digital pictures with their cellphones; there's a murky admixture here that stings more than it bangs.
