I'm going to go sit in the bathroom with the lights off for a while now.

Today began fine; then my sis and bro in law came over for dinner; he and I finished a bottle of Dalmore. A friend in town to visit his cousin the ICU called 20 minutes ago to meet for drinks. I may need a cab.

i was ok when i got up and now i am tired and trying to decide if i should just write today off or go out for 'metal night' at some bar...

Will I regret many things come morning?

after being awake for 42 straight hours i slept today for 20 hours. amazing how much good that much sleep does for your hangover. big big regrets in my cellphone and email outboxes however. also, i was supposed to go out with an awesome girl tonight and here i am at home.

russian samovar is a restaurant/piano bar on w.52nd street. many infused/flavored vodkas. i haven't been there, but several friends of mine rate it as one of their favorites.

Is it normal for hangovers to come in the form of mouth and throat and eyes sore like you drank acid and feel all feverish or have I got the flu? Blergh.

Last night I went to a dinner. Waiting for a guest who wasn't going to eat we went through four bottles of shiraz, vodka, and a slab of gouda. Ate at 12:45 (turkey meatloaf and broccoli). I left shortly after two, as Dean's outer rain bands started to slam.

No hangover! My breath smells like turkey broccoli though.
