how do people make things like that? does someone sets up some sort of old school overhead projector to create an outline of an object at an oblong angle across the room, and then someone traces over it? or is there a better way?

I don't know if dashcams are required by law, but with mass corruption, faked accidents, shady cops and meteors falling out if the sky, most ruskie insurance companies require them.
