No. On Monday, I wandered around in the rain and then went to the airport and then rode on an airplane for a long time and then I was home again!

Is that Vol de Nuit? I went on a date there once, the date was ill-fated but the bar was lovely, has frites and a beautiful, enclosed front courtyard for outside sitting.

Okay people -- I think Lauren & Shasta are making an effort to meet up but as for me, I think I might be doing a bar visit in Bushyick and a party that Jon knows about, because I really like the guy who's throwing it. However am open to suggestions, so txt away. I will also be biking unless it pours rain, so I can swing up to greenpoint or etc if called for.

A friend of mine who spent a lot of time in Europe recently chastised me for referring to anything that's not a large, open space as a "beer garden." I suppose she's right - it is sort of wanky, not to mention inaccurate to call bars "beer gardens" just because they are German or Belgian themed.

but I guess so do a lot of other regular bars wit patios
